The writer behind the words

Hello! I’m Cassidy, but you can call me “Cass.”

I’m an Okanagan-born, neurodivergent writer who resides in the BC Rockies. While I take inspiration from most aspects of life, I am deeply passionate about my hobbies and writing, enough so that they seep into one another. If given lore on a subject, I will dive deep into the inner workings of the world, characters, and narrative plot. Gaining an understanding of new topics, worlds, and writing styles allows for my craft to grow continuously.

While most of my hobbies are “nerdier” in nature—D&D, video games, board games, reading, and anime—I continue to nourish my love for learning. Finding and improving new skills has always helped regulate my brain to a happy state. A happy and healthy brain continues to aid my creative flow with any artistic project or hobby I am working on.

During my undergraduate degree in Creative Writing, I indulged in various topics, such as Video Game Writing and Superhero Literature. While entertaining, these topics gave insight into their influential nature within the creative industry. The impact of popular culture, such as video game narratives, is a constant in today’s world, serving as a deep passion for millions of people and forming communities across the globe. This level of positive, creative impact encourages me to bolster my skills and one day be a part of a project that leaves a lasting impression.
